The Annual Meeting of the Burden Lake Conservation Association, Inc. is scheduled for Saturday, July 12th at 10 am.  The meeting will take place at the BLCA Clubhouse.   This letter will serve as official notice of our meeting and a vote for BLCA Board Members to serve a two year term.  Attached in this email is a Proxy Ballot if you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to designate a Voting Member to represent your vote. 

There are nine seats on the Board.  The following Board Members are up for election or reelection:

Rich Amadon, Jr. Steve Scarlata

Ryan Cioffi Alicia Teitsma

Mark Cioffi, II Billy Thorpe

Mike Gadaleta Wendy Will

Chelsa Zantay

Nominations may also be made at the July 12th meeting.   Per the BLCA by-laws the following Members are eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting:

PROPERTY OWNERS: Owners of property on the Third Burden Lake or those people with deeded access to the Third Burden Lake who pay dues to the Association and the spouses or domestic partners of the owners – if family Membership Dues are paid.

FAMILY OF PROPERTY OWNERS:  Dues paying Children over the age of 18 years and Grandchildren over the age of 18 years of individuals who own property on the Third Burden Lake or who have deeded access to the Third Burden Lake and the spouses or domestic partners of those children or grandchildren – if the Family Membership dues are paid.

REMINDER Annual Meeting BLCASaturday, July 12th, 2025

The Annual Meeting of the Burden Lake Conservation Association, Inc. is scheduled for Saturday, July 12th at 10am. The meeting will take place at the BLCA Clubhouse.

We will be voting for BLCA Board Members at our meeting. There are nine seats available on the Board. Six current Board Members are up for reelection and three Association Members have indicated they would like to serve.
If you have interest in serving a two year term on the BLCA Board and would like to have your name on the ballot, please email Steve Quillinan, President at s.quillinanproperties@ gmail.com no later than June 27th, 2025.
We will be emailing absentee ballots the week of July 1st. They must be received by Friday July 11th. If you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting you can execute the attached Proxy Ballot to assign a qualified Member to vote for you. Please note that all dues must be paid no later than June 29th in order to be qualified to run for election and vote.
